Generally, almost eyewear use the nickel when they work the welding and screws are necessary process and materials for making glasses. But we design so that nickel is not used in the process at the design stage. This is our own know-how.
When there are no screws on the frames, the hinge parts will be weak and stressed they might come off your glasses and get damaged. In order to balance the frame and reduce the stress from hinge with no screws, it is essential to reduce weight of the frame material.
